The Louis Jadot Bourgogne Côte d’Or “cuvée” comes from a balanced blend of Côte d’Or vineyards. The blend produces a wine that espouses the best of the Côte d’Or minus the price tag that makes many such wines unachievable for the ordinary wine consumer. Deep in colour, the nose reveals lovely aromas of cherries and dark berries. Maturation in oak has added subtle hints of spice and toast. The tannins are fine-grained and elegant, and the finish is delightfully juicy.
