We had perfect maturity from each of our vineyards for Oka, which are all from tremendous Côte d’Or sites. The fruit, which came from vines that average 40+ years old, was very balanced, rich, and deliciously full. In 2018 it was really almost like premier cru quality, with the extra sun and clay/limestone soils delivering some of the greatest Bourgogne fruit we have ever had.
