Domaine Hudelot-Noëllat is a Burgundy producer of high-quality Pinot Noir from prestigious sites in the Côte de Nuits. The domaine was founded in Vougeot by Alain Hudelot in 1962, although the Hudelot family can trace its history in Burgundy back to before the French Revolution. Hudelot married Odile Noëllat in the 1970s, which increased the domaine's holdings – the Noëllat family has its own significant history in Burgundy. Aromas of wild berries, cassis, incense, smoked duck and rose hip introduce the 2017 Clos de Vougeot Grand Cru, a full-bodied, ample and layered wine that's quite charming and open-knit by the standards of Clos Vougeout and even by the standards of this routinely elegant cuvée. Domaine Hudelot-Noëllat is a Burgundy producer of high-quality Pinot Noir from prestigious sites in the Côte de Nuits.
